For this spectacular yacht built by Southern Wind Shipyard, VABO Composites was chosen to build a full composite engineroom door with B15 firerating and an escape hatch with the same requirements. The engineroom door even has an acoustic panel to reduce noises from the engineroom; that is above the fact that the acoustic damping of a composite product is far more then a steel or aluminium equivalent.
