Years of activity means our selection of moulds for doors and hatches is always increasing: Accedoo may already have a size that suits a refit or new build project. For everything else, Accedoo has invested heavily in a high precision alloy, modular, mould system that allows us to assemble tooling for any custom size required. The client can therefore access a custom size hatch or door, with zero investment in tooling..
Class approval and quality
Accedoo Ship Doors and Flush Hatches are certified by Bureau Veritas and by agreement, to alternative Class approval. Internally, VABO Composite’s own ISO 9001 Quality Assurance, provided by Lloyd’s Register (LRQA) guarantees care and quality in all internal methods and processes.
Products
The Accedoo Ship Doors and Flush Hatches are built from lightweight composite material and designed for easy installation and minimal in-service maintenance. The composite construction also allows us to tailor the products to our client’s requirements, for example by integrating sound insulating or fire retardant materials. Moreover, composite products provide greater freedom to achieve complex geometries (such as bulkhead or deck camber) and when compared to steel, have enviable corrosion benefits and finished aesthetics.
