In our last newsletter we announced that production manager Frank vd Velde had left VABO Composites to enjoy his well-deserved pre-retirement. Frank’s departure left some big shoes to fill and we have been fortunate enough to do just that with the appointment of Tino Pit in February.
Tino has a broad knowledge of our specialised field having worked for Deen Composites in the past and being a board member of Composites NL. He also fits the VABO profile in both a formal and informal way. Tino’s hands-on mentality and renowned ability to oversee processes has already made him a valuable member of the VABO team.
Living in the lovely village of Giethoorn with his wife Saskia and son Daan, Tino loves to spend his spare time on the water after all the tourists have left. He is also busy renovating his house. Give him a warm welcome as our new production manager next time you meet.
