The team from VABO Composites had a very productive time at the three-day METSTRADE show in Amsterdam in mid-November. Our stand was at the heart of the action in the Superyacht Pavilion in Hall 9, with an excellent position in the middle of the Holland Pavilion. Combined with the buzz around our products in the market, this enabled us to attract the right quantity and quality of visitors. Many new contacts were made and we have a wealth of good leads for our sales teams in NL and in Italy to follow up. Many thanks if you were one of those visitors for taking the time to drop by at such a busy event.
Hall 9 was the also the location for the impressive Holland Yachting Stage, a joint venture between Superyacht Times and the Holland Yachting Group trade association. A wide range of interesting subjects were discussed by a panel of experts within the superyacht industry. VABO sales manager Jeroen van Deutekom was invited to take place in two of these panels to share his thoughts on ‘Choosing the right equipment’ and ‘Getting the specifications right’ in relation to the use of composites. Overall, this platform proved a great way to bring yards, suppliers and a willing audience together in the same space.
