Earlier this year VABO Composites was awarded the contract to deliver all the doors and hatches for 39 vessels in a series being built by Couach. This prestigious French yard has opted to save weight by using composite doors and hatches. As we write the first vessel has just been delivered and the next four are under construction. The VABO team has successfully complied with all requirements related to A60 and watertightness, making this a major step forward in the use of composite materials.
